CD Marker use in Flow Cytometry

The cluster of differentiation (cluster of designation or classification determinant) (often abbreviated as CD) is a protocol used for the identification and investigation of cell surface molecules providing targets for immuno-phenotyping of cells. Nomenclature proposed in 1982 at First International Workshop and Conference on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens (HLDA); workshops now called Human Cell Differentiation Molecules. Classification system for monoclonal antibodies generated by laboratories worldwide against cell surface molecules on leukocytes initially, now also antigens from other cell types. below there is link to open the full article for different CD Markers:
